May I also say that we also found all of the people we dealt with in your country very friendly and accommodating, we look forward to visiting your country again, and depending upon where we visit would like to pop in and say hello – if that would be OK with the clinic.

Dear Marin Medical Team,

I wanted to thank you all for your very kind and professional care of me when I had to disembark from the Viking ship and seek medical treatment starting on 27 June.  It is not how we had planned to spend our 25th wedding anniversary cruise, but you helped us to make the best of it.  You are very good at what you do!

In part through all of you, God blessed us in challenging circumstances.  And, if I had to do it all over again, Dubrovnik is the place I’d choose to disembark (a wonderful city).

Please share this with the doctors and staff.  Sorry I could not thank each of you personally.

Hi Dr. Curlin,

I am so happy to tell you that I am home now. We came back on Saturday, June 8. I am feeling very well considering how sick I was. I want to thank you for your excellent care. At times, I thought that I was not going to make it, but you pulled me through.

I also would like to thank your wonderful hospital staff. Antonio and the other nurses went over the top to help me. Please tell Antonio how much I miss him as I feel that he became a friend while I was there.

After my discharge from the hospital, I did enjoy a few day at the Sheraton Hotel in Dubrovnik. If one has to land anywhere, this would be the place with its beautiful surroundings. The food there was exceptional. I would highly recommend their buffet as I have never seen such a feast in my life.

Hi,
I am writing principally to thank Dr Kojic and all staff including physiotherapy for helping me during my visits while on holiday in Cavtat in June of this year. The standard of care in your clinic was very good and I want to thank you for that.

On my return as recommended I followed up with a spinal surgeon who prescribed Lyrica (Pregabalin) for pain relief and recommended surgery to be carried out on August 14th. The Lyrica has been very effective in managing pain. I am currently reducing the level of Lyrica I am taking and finding that the underlying level of pain is greatly reduced so I am hopeful that I will not go ahead with the surgery as scheduled.

Once again thank you very much for the high level of care afforded to m at your clinic.

Dr. Curlin,

Just a quick update on health. We arrived in Denver about 2200, so very long flight. Admitted to Anschutz Medical Center. Stayed up most of night doing lots of tests including another CT. The next day at 1200 the interventional radiologist Dr Luke Beyers drained the abscess and placed a drain. They found that the abscess was actually growing in my liver, probably bacteria passing through liver. Procedure was over in less than hour. Will be on iv antibiotics for another 4-6 weeks, drain out in another week.

Many thanks for getting back to me so quickly. As we have 3 medical centres in the Kotor area, I assume its Opsta Bolnica Kotor that you are referring to.
It looks like the only 24 hour hospital of the 3. I must admit when you told me I had a 2 cm Gall stone I was a little shocked.
However, i shouldn’t be surprised after the life style ive had for the last 20 years. May I add how much of a pleasure it was to meet you and how very professional you are.

That is wonderful news Dr. Curlin! I have to admit I’ve been a little stressed about getting the results. Does this mean I no longer need to take the Salofalk? I’m finishing up my antibiotics.
